Theona enjoys the staff at school and her fun and entertaining kindergarten students They are never boring. Nathan is a police detective. A crime has been committed in which both of them have an interest. It is possible that one of Theona’s associates is guilty. With the addition of a neighbor’s “cooky” visitor, this mystery is filled with fun and mayhem. The characters are portrayed well and the scenes are easily visualized. The events steadily unfold as the mystery solution comes to a close. Somewhat predictable, this tale is still a joy to read or listen to. Maren Swenson Waxenberg gives a very good performance of the various characters' “voices “, and places all the needed emphasis effectively throughout the book. In reference to the author’s note at the end of the story, my sweet parents were from the same “school“ unfortunately my husband was from that same “school“. It delights me to know others were able to “reach for the stars “ so many of us can enjoy the results of their successes. This audiobook was gifted me with no pressure for a positive review. This is my honest review. no reviews | add a review

In Good Luck to Murder, Fiona and her gang once again team up to solve another murder. This time it involves a missing lottery ticket and a lot of guess work on who done it. I was entertained from start to finish with this book and found it to be a great way of taking a much needed break from my chaotic week.
I will be giving Good Luck to Murder four and a half stars. I believe fans, readers and lovers of clean and quick cozy mysteries will love to read this one. I will be on the look out for the next addition to the Fiona Quinn Mysteries, Mambo and Murder, to see what else C S McDonald has in store for Fiona Quinn and her friends.
I received a digital copy of Good Luck to Murder from the publisher, but was not required to write a positive review. This review is one hundred percent my own honest opinion. ( )
