His biggest challenge has been keeping enough healthy humans in his territories. For some reason they helped strengthened the Fae Court. But he is show a a live video of a woman who has qualities that grab his attention, nothing has done that in so many years, he must have her. Gabriella has been destined to be Pure , to someday wed the Archangel, even though something didn't seem right about it. But when she is kidnapped , she is confused by all that happens. I've never read anything about Angels against Fae before but I really enjoyed this book. We have good and evil but are we sure which one is which. No spoilers from me but things are going to get hot one way or another. But you'll have to read book 2 and find out more. ( ) I'm usually not a big fan of paranormal romance. So even though it started slow and it's not my typical genre I just couldn't put it down. I'm assuming I liked it so much because of the unusual conflict between Fae and angels. I thoroughly enjoyed learning just who the angels really are behind the veil and that Gabriella finally was revealed the truth. I can't wait to see where the next book takes her Xander and the rest of the world they live. What happens when you learn your entire life has been a carefully cultivated lie? Follow the story as one innocent, sheltered woman learns a devastating truth and possibly discovers a new world. The choice is ultimately hers... Will she choose the right path? Angels and far take center stage in this fascinating tale, but are not what you've come to believe all your life. A page turning read filled with suspense, prophecy and so much more! no reviews | add a review
