Taking the reader verse by verse through the Book of Daniel, and attempting an interpretation of the mysterious prophecies therein, I thought this did a pretty good job of clarifying those that we've lived through- the World Powers, the changing identities of the Kings of the North and South. It also builds faith in those stil to come, which the work frankly explains we are still waiting on.
I guess where it (and certain other JW publications) falls down is in the determined manner it tries to attribute huge, long-preserved prophecies (which feature Big Stuff like the Roman Empire, the Cold War) to include forgotten JW activities of zero long-term import.I'm not convinced that "many will cleanse themselves" specifically relates to the 1922 JW conference at Cedar Point!
I think these rather bumptious efforts to clain divine prophecy specifically linked to JW history were one of reasons I started to "smell a rat" and quit, Nonetheless, if you igore those bits, a useful and inspiring read. ( )
