Litrpg progression fantasy with stats, levels and math.

The two months since Ruwen ascended have been busy. There's been adventure and betrayal, revealed secrets and surprising finds, new friends, old friends and different Realms but Ruwen is still standing and chipping away at progressing enough to compete as Uru's Champion.

I loved this book. Old friends appear. Bliz, Tremine. New friends are made. Parents are revived. There's action and adventure and more skills and abilities to be gained and to level up. It was great. I didn't love the city building and politics as much but it was what it was.

Blapy has taken Fractal under her wing and the two of them together is totally badass. Fractal is full of great ideas and unique advancements and Blapy is good at keeping him on track to actually get things done. I loved their relationship and I just wanted to see more of it. I wish Ruwen had more time to focus on Fractal but I did love that he made a point to store everything he could find to give to Fractal and help him be unique. And I adore the name Shattered Sun. Totally awesome. Actually and the tattoos.

Sift and Ruwen are hilarious. Their banter is amusing and I enjoy the two of them mocking each other. I love them almost as much as I love Rami. She's cool as. And I adore Ruwen's position as Black Pyramid Librarian. It's awesome. I wish he wasn't so busy so he could spend more time there.

An action packed read that's full of adventure, stats, levelling and humour. 4.5 stars, rounded to 5 stars. ( )
