Fantastic book! Lots of great recipes and lots of pictures! I'll definitely be trying some of these recipes!! ( )

I like how the recipes in this book feature ingredients that are most likely to be found present in everyone’s pantry. The emphasis on common, practical everyday ingredients, the lack of exotic spices in the ingredients lists, and the—for the most part—simple preparation make this a practical cookbook to add to your collection. Some items take longer to cook than I would like, making them impractical for throwing together on short notice, but the range of dishes offers recipes for every taste. The photography is attractive, and the directions are clear and straightforward. ( )

Extraordinarily good recipes. We made one of her recipes each night the first week we had the book and they were all exceptional. We are still making them, just not every night. Highly recommend. I liked them as much -- if not better, for simplicity (though I actually have no problem with complicated recipes) -- as I like Half-Baked Harvest's recipes. They all went together relatively quickly and simply yet delivered great flavors. If you are a fan of chickpeas/garbanzo beans, you'll find a lot in here to like. (I almost *never* leave public reviews, keeping my notes in the Private field. But this was so good I wanted to give public kudos to the author.) ( )
