The Council, Reform and Reunion, by Hans Kung translated by Cecily Hastings (read 20 Sep 1962) This book made quite a stir when it appeared, and conservatives thought it should be put on the Index. Fortunately, the Index was abolished in 1966--an action for which we should all remember Pope Paul VI with gratitude. ( )
