I knew from Hayden’s book that I would absolutely love and adore Nixon because he was such a sweet, fun loving guy that would help others no question asked. So I knew once I got a hold of his story I would end up loving him even more and I was right. Yasmin from book one I kind of had my reservations about because sometimes she could come off as aloof, distant, and rude at times but under that I had the feeling there would be a lot more to her story. These have a love/hate relationship because Nixon fell for her almost instantly and she hated him from the beginning thinking he was a clueless player jock. Not going to lie I kind of found her judgmental attitude a little harsh seeing as she didn’t liked to be judged for things, but I understood her hesitation towards someone being a womanizer, yet Nixon really didn’t seem that way. These two go back and forth throwing barbs but what they both don’t see is that the are both very similar with the secrets they hide, and both are hurting. They both broke y heart because of all they endured and dealt with, so I found myself routing hard for them. Another great read in this series and can’t wait for more! ( )
