I found it hard to get into. It's a tongue in cheek weird, I found that there wasn't much of a story line until the end. Not an easy to read book I found. The end was more interesting. ( )

Charles Crenshaw just wanted something that would help him get from one place to another without any mistakes. He wound up with a GPS that did much more than that, some of it quite nasty. ( )

This would be quite a fun entry in a short story collection but, for me, it wasn't really up to being a stand alone novel. The story was interesting, but the characters were stereotypes and lacked any depth. ( )

An enjoyable fun novella about a nagging wife and a new hi-tech GPS. I would've liked a little deeper portrayal of the wife's disagreeable temperament, as she just wasn't obnoxious enough to me for what follows. Some of the GPS functions are entertaining, but unlikely to be seen on the roads anytime soon....or maybe not! An entertaining quick read. ( )

The Hotchkiss. Weird. Intentionally, tongue in cheek weird. Charlie has a nagging wife who makes a great deal of the fact that Charlie missed the turn to the restaurant, making them late for dinner with friends. So Charlie buys the latest thing in GPS. Now he knows he can never miss a turn again. But, as I suspected, this is much more than an average GPS. My only quibble with the book is that several pages are dedicated to enumerating the many sly things this GPS can do A little too much. More fun is seeing it doing its best (worst). Even suspecting something weird is going to happen nothing prepared me for the ending ( )
