This one of the most original, intense, and intriguing, paranormal romance stories that I've read so far this year. It turns out that nothing is as it seems. Avery is attacked by what is thought to be a serial killer but turns out to be something else (read it and find out, you know you want to). Twists and turn, suspense at every corner had me holding my breath. I loved every minute of this story. The characters all had that are of mystery about them. There was just something off. I felt like everyone was suspicious. The plot flowed well even with all the twists and turns. The tone was like watching a great psycho thriller from the 80's (my generation). I'd give it more than 10 stars if I could. It's that could and you should hit that one-click button. Book two of series. ( )
