I can count on zero fingers how many books I have read before where the MC is a civil engineer working in construction.
I would recommend reading the series in order because there are many characters with POVs in this book, many of whom were MCs in the first two books. (

Jilly, one of the Stile's sisters is determined to fulfill her father's dream of a railroad with a bridge. Unfortunately someone is sabatoging her efforts. She must find out who she can really trust and believe that God will help her through these trials. (

I really liked this series. The humor of this author in serious situations is always enjoyable. I really enjoyed the details of the start of their escape from the evil stepfather. These are smart women.
