Loading... Kym (1976)by Joyce Stranger
![]() None No current Talk conversations about this book. ![]() ![]() I had fond memories of reading this book as a kid, and I just had to try and find it again. When I finally found it, it was just as wonderful reading it at 27 as at 10. Ms. Stranger really brings across Kym's personality in her writing (and he sure had a lot of personality to bring across!). It was hilarious, touching, happy, sad....the reader really gets a feel for how much this animal was a part of their lives. Has to be one of my favorite books ever. no reviews | add a review
Siamese cats are demanding characters but Kym was in a league of his own: noisy, aggressive, insisting always on having his own way, greedy and obstreperous. He lived in very close conjunction with his mistress, not because she wanted it that way but because he didn't give her any choice. No library descriptions found. |
