I am a huge fan of historical fiction, and James A. Michener is one of my favorite authors. He has the ability to bring history to life in his books, so when I came across this biography of his I snatched it right up. It is a well-written and informative account of his life, which gives great insight into the man behind the books—a very talented and industrious man. Well worth the read for all Michener fans! ( )
