I find it amusing that the title of the book is "Remember" yet I recall nothing of it.

Book description
Barbara Taylor Bradford once again demonstrates her superb storytelling gifts in this electrifying novel. Set in the dynamic world of television news, Remember tells the story of a woman haunted by the mystery of her greatest love.

Television war correspondent Nicky Wells is a media superstar, courageous, beautiful, and renowned for her hard-hitting reports from the world’s battlefields and trouble spots. But her life is shattered when she loses the only man she has ever truly loved, dashing English aristocrat Charles Devereaux.

Nicky finds solace in her work, and in her friendship with photographer Cleeland Donovan, and together they report on the massacre in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square during the student protest in 1989. After a romantic interlude in Provance, Nicky wonders if she might finally be able to fall in love again. But suddenly she is forced to remember Charles Devereaux when confronted with disturbing suspicions about this remarkable man and his mysterious double life.

And so Nicky embarks on a quest to discover the truth about Devereaux, a journey that will take her from New York and Provance to Rome, London, and Madrid. Her search will draw on every investigative skill Nicky has learned, and it will challenge everything she thought she knew about Charles Devereaux, herself and her life.
