Her boss Tounome, who owns the company, is the gentlemanly type, kind and dapper, though he has an extra talent--he's invisible! His special ability is perfect for detective work, but he quickly comes to find it doesn't work on Yakou, who is blind and always knows if he's near. Charmed, Tounome is determined to get her to date him and isn't against using his many skills. So many manga I'm reading lately seem to be these super-gentle slice-of-life stories that are all warm-and-cozy atmosphere and barely-there plots. Here, an invisible man and a blind woman who work together at a detective agency start to fall for each other. There's no suspense in their relationship and their cases unravel in a mild manner with good outcomes.

Apparently, there is a genre in Japan called "Iyashikei" that encompasses these low-key, feel-good books and aims to instill calmness in the reader.

The opening chapters of this particular book are cute enough for a thumbs-up, and though I feel I may bore of the series in the long run I will give the next volume a try. ( )

Sure, go ahead.

Hmm? How did you know it was me?

Huh?

   You can't see, right?

Yes, but I could smell you . . .
