"A narrative nonfiction story detailing the long distance that dust from the Sahel in Africa travels across the Atlantic Ocean to replenish life in the Amazon Rainforest. Told from the perspective of dust, A River of Dust takes readers on a journey through vibrantly illustrated landscapes, celebrating the power and wonder of Earth's ecosystems, and showing how these tiny particles are in fact key to the health of our planet"-- No library descriptions found. |

This book was beautiful and throughly interesting! I had no idea about this story and I was intrigued the entire time. The way the author describes the journey is beautiful and the illustrations are stunning. This would be a cool and unique book to have in the future! I would use this book for 1-3 graders.
