When Mach thinks outside the box to help his best friend, he somehow comes up with an idea to win a date with him. While this idea may seem like a little harmless fun to get publicity back on the band and away from his buddy’s love life, Mach isn’t ready for the force of Darla who knocks him over. Mach’s history has him believing love doesn’t exist and isn’t for him, so he tends to keep others at arm’s length and Darla is no different. She is different from other women he has been around, she is down to earth, and just everything Mach doesn’t realize he needs. Darla’s life has taken a detour and while she never intended for her life to get swept up with this Rockstar it does and now, they must figure out how to navigate this. I absolutely adore these two and how they both brought so much more out of each other to find their way to happiness. The more time they spend together lines and feelings blur, but will either one admits that this means so much more than just the spotlight shining on them? Will Mach walk away thinking love is just something he can never have? So much fun and the banter between Mach and Darla has the reader falling in love with them. Who knew floating in a pool on a slice of pizza could offer so much prospective? ( )
