If you're sitting in a waiting room, this is the perfect book. Quick reads, and very wholesome. That said, the characters were underdeveloped and some of the passages were not very smooth. Perfect for new readers who enjoy a little clean romance. ( )This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. I honestly didn't realize that this was a little collection of holiday stories. Which, it does say on the cover I just got distracted by how cute it sounded. And I'm glad that I went with my first feeling of just jumping into this one because it was so good. If you're looking for feel-good, clean, romantic, holiday stories then look no further! They were all short stories, so it was easy to sit and read one at a time. Even if I did want to sit and devour all of them at once.Even though they were short stories, they all had really great characters and storylines and still managed to completely absorb my attention and have me completely involved until the end. All three of the stories had me wanting to read more about the characters for sure, which just really leads me to be a fan of this author and I will now be looking for more books by her. So if you're looking for a quick, sweet, and very Christmas-themed story, this collection is here to give you three! This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. The stories are super cheesy and for me they’re a little too cutesy and unrealistic. The writing seems pretty juvenile and the characters are underdeveloped. I didn’t necessarily hate it, but it wasn’t my favorite by any means. Mistletoe Magic: Clean Holiday Romance Collection, my fourteenth enjoyable read from author Daisy Landish, a trio of heartwarming holiday tales. Very different than her cozy mysteries I've read. Clueless at Christmas the best of the three. Christmas Surprise. The Yuletide Thief. “I received a free Kindle copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. I look forward to reading more from this author, next up on my TBR kist Arrested on Boxing Day (Jane and Kennedy Daniels Mysteries Book 2). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018. This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. This collection of short stories has potential as a feel good, Hallmark movie-type of holiday read. I was really looking forward to reading it around the holidays. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Despite being a short story, the story line felt too rushed. There wasn't enough time for the type of character development needed in this kind of story. The timelines of the two characters didn't match and I felt disappointed in the story after reading. With more development, the stories could be really good. no reviews | add a review
