Sara is attending the University of the West of England in Bristol. It's not like her dull hometown 20 miles away. Her flat (apartment) is one of 240 in a building used by all of the universities in Bristol. Andrea, whose flat is adjacent to Sarah's, is a bit of a party girl. She invites Sarah to join her.

When Sarah was nine years old, she had a vision of her father, and then her cat, who both died. Now she's had a vision of a young man she's never met. The young man is obviously dead. Then she meets him. His name is Tom.

Sarah is obsessed with saving Tom's life, but doesn't know how to go about it. Her chance comes while ghost stories are being told at Andrea's Halloween party. Unfortunately, Tom just thinks she's told the creepiest story.

Will Tom heed her warning after all?
