I adore cookbooks - the lush photos, the sensual ingredients, the exotic creations.

I really wanted to like this book - I saw it described as a book of upscale recipes created from items you might likely keep in your pantry.

The photography is exquisite. However, between the book's layout (lots of white space)and the resulting scant choice of recipes, I found nothing I'd be likely to want to cook. ( )

Has some great recipes, but not into the dessert ones so much. Lamb shanks with lentils and the green chicken curry is a favourite! ( )
