Un style riche soutient des histoires courtes et saugrenues. J'ai beaucoup aimé, mais je m'interroge. Dans nombre de nouvelles, un roux craintif, laid, peureux fait partie des personnages principaux. Qu'a Nobokov contre les roux ? ( )

Quelques nouvelles plaisantes à lire (comme la Vénitienne). D'autres ressemblent à un univers de Dali. Dans ce cas là, j'accroche pas. ( )
