For a dude whose linguistics verges on (and sometimes dips into) crackpottery, Chomsky's politics are immaculate and brave, and this is good as a reminder/reaffirmation that the US government is doing terrible things. It's short on details, though, a situation perhaps exacerbated by the conversational format, where he's all "Assert! Assert! Assert!" - not that I disagree with the assertions, but a little more facts and a little less comparing Reagan to Hitler would go down well.

But like, his future-predicting record sits at maybe 30% - not bad at all as these things go. And SOME comparing Reagan to Hitler is important. ( )
