Book description
The evolution of man is always the result of individual inner growth. This is the aim of all religions, all the Ways, but requires a direct and precise knowledge of changes in the quality of each man's inner consciousness - the 'real' world of the title - a knowledge which can only be acquired with an experienced guide through prolonged self-study and 'work' on oneself.

This collection of talks is an authentic rendering of Guedjieff's teaching in this field, as expressed to his pupils at the required moment, and demonstrates why he has come to be regarded as one of the most important spiritual matters of the twentieth century.
