In the second book of the Nauti Boys series, the focus is on Dawg and Crista. Thier history makes the love story much more interesting, more personal, and adds to the drama. This book also introduces Alex, whom will be the focus in later books in the series. This book reeks of great sex scenes and heart felt moments. I just love to read about bad boys who turn soft because they found the right girl. Lora keeps the same format: the older bad boy with the bad ass body, who have military experience, which is, by the way, one of the sexiest and honorable jobs out there!! The herorines are younger, inexerienced, and wildly sexy and open to thier lovers' sex games. Dawg, just like Rowdy, becomes overly possessive of Crista and does not wish to share her with the only cousin left in the game, Natches. All thee Naughty Boys come together to protect Crista from danger. Crista has been framed and it is up to Dawg to protect her while keeping himself out of jail for harboring a person of interest. I liked the second story in the Nauti Boys series, Nauti Nights, a little better than the first. The characters were a little stronger and the buildup of the mystery was nicely executed. At first I was a little concerned that I wouldn't like the blackmail angle to the story, but Dawg more than redeems himself throughout the story. I like Crista too. She's been thrown to the wolves and in a desperate situation that isn't of her own making. She's smart and sassy, which I love in a heroine. Dawg is the ultimate Nauti Boy, especially in the love scenes. So far this series is really good.

I love series books and reading them one right after the other is more fun for me than waiting a few months for the next one to come out. So I'm off to read the next book in this series "Nauti Dreams."

I have hungered for his story since I read the previous book in the series, Nauti Boy, and will say without reservation that Nauti Nights surpassed my expectations, which were pretty darn high to begin with.

Crista is the epitome of the Lora Leigh heroine – strong, soft, intrepid, caring, and with a bit of tragedy in her past that simultaneously makes her stronger and also serves as an obstacle to her relationship with the man she loves.

Dawg is just IT. So Alpha-male he will make your knees wobbly, he is not without a degree of sensitivity – well, in his own dominant way, of course! LOL There are times he does things that make you want to just throttle him, and you keep watching for Crista to do just that, but the omniscient view the reader enjoys makes his domineering manner a little easier to take, since we know all along that the man’s heart is definitely in the right place.

As Nauti Nights ends, the author leaves us with a teaser guaranteed to leave fans panting for the next book in the Nauti Trilogy, but more than satisfied with the happy ending she crafts for Crista and Dawg. Carrying readers through a roller coaster of emotions – love, lust, sadness, happiness, and more, Nauti Nights is a perfect example of everything I love about Lora Leigh’s work.
