No current Talk conversations about this book. 00003925 This is a weird little book, I think an excerpt from one of the Winnie-the-Pooh stories but it seems disjointed, like it starts and ends at a random place, like we never know how Piglet got surrounded by water and there is talk of a rescue but he is never rescued, which makes the title appropriate at least. I liked this book for the writing. It is paced well and easy for young readers to read on their own. For example "Christopher Robin opened his umbrella and put it in the water. Then they both got in together." The words are simple for young readers. I also like the story for the illustrations. The illustrations are simple yet appealing. They also fits the written text. For example the quote stated above, the illustration is exactly what is happening in the quote. The message of this story is the power of friendship. no reviews | add a review
