This story is about a group of little monsters who are planning their own Halloween party, and soon run into a problem. I would definitely say this book is a fantasy, with just a touch of nonfiction. This would be a great book to bring out when planning a class Halloween party, it can be used to talk about sequencing, events, planning, organization, and problem solving strategies. I think this book can be easily used to call on higher level thinking strategies, and to start good discussions.
