Some of the best romantic suspense novels by Mary Stewart, this is a good introduction if you can find it. "This Rough Magic" is one of my all-time favorite novels, with a plucky heroine, a sinister but charming stranger, and a little bit of natural Corfu magic. "The Ivy Tree" is a great tale of mistaken identify and a mysterious farm and of course some romance thrown in. "Wildfire at Midnight" finds a lovely heroine stuck in an island hotel with her recently divorced ex - and then murder spices up her vacation. ( )
