What kinds of silly surprises are in store for them? With its simple text and fold out flap pages, these beginning picture books are a great fit for young toddlers that aren't readers yet, just like my daughter. She loves books, and we read to her all the time, but lengthier picture books are beyond her attention span. However, she is starting to be too old for the simpler board books. The Biscuit series fits nicely in between. The bright and colorful illustrations featuring the cuddly Biscuit are appealing, and the story is sweet and easy to read. This particular book focuses on Halloween, but only as the holiday applies to young children. Costumes, friends, and treats are the highlight, and Biscuit is the star. A cute story meant for the emerging reader. no reviews | add a review
