This book is incredible. Originally intended for use with the old Advanced Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game, this book contains a vast, beautifully but simply illustrated, catalog of supplies which might be found in a quazi-medieval fantasy setting. The book is not so big on weaponry or magic items (since there are plenty of other books out there covering those aspects) but delves into just about every other aspect of provision, including a few intentionally ridiculous or "sham" supplies (ie. leaches and dubious orthopedic "trail boots").

I highly recommend this book, not only for those playing old-school AD&D, but for any players, game-masters, or possibly even writers looking for ideas to add detail and color to the provisions and commerce of their setting.
