In this book a mother pretends to believe that all the noises she hears are coming from wild animals, but each time they are simply from her daughter Emily. In the end, the mother hears nothing but quiet, and she knows that it is her daughter sound asleep. This book would be fun to read to kindergarteners because of its predictable book format.
