With the help of the bear, the animals learn a lesson in sharing. Easy read for kids and would work well during a character building lesson. ( ) This story is about the last apple on the tree. The group of animals in the forest fight for the apple and decide who should get it. Finally they decide to split it. The story showed that sharing is always the best way to make everyone happy in certain situations. The pictures for the story worked very well with the writing. This book is about three animals that spot one last apple on a tree. They all being to argue about who saw it, caught it, wanted it first. They are so loud they wake up the bear, who find a solution to their problem. He cuts the apple up and they all share it. But all along there was a small worm on each page that claimed the apple was for him, but since he was so small no one noticed. This was a small funny part at the end of the story.
