Reviewed on SF Mistressworks: https://sfmistressworks.wordpress.com/2015/05/13/prisoner-of-conscience-susan-r-... ( ) I loved the first book in the series, and this one was just as good. While it wasn't as much a personal character study as the first one, it was much more that way than many sci-fi books I've (tried to) read, which were just about space ships and blowing stuff up. These two books are psychological, which is definitely what I look for in my sci-fi books. Will be reading the next one soon! I loved the first book in the series, and this one was just as good.
