"A Kid's Guide to the Brain" is exactly what it says on the cover: a book about the brain, the nervous system, and how it all works.

A collaboration of former OWL Magazine editor-in-chief Sylvia Funston and Canadian science columnist Jay Ingram, the book is very well-written. It does an excellent job of presenting its subject matter in a simple, easy-to-understand manner, while avoiding being excessively condescending or patronizing. Brain-teasers, experiments, and fun facts make the book even more enjoyable for readers young and old.
