The first of the BishonenWorks art collections is a great compilation of some of PL Nunn's yaoi-inspired work. I liked this collection mainly because it has several images from her original fiction, Bloodraven and Dynasty of Ghosts. There is nudity and a few sexual situations, but this is not as explicit as the erotic comic art collection 2. I like most of her images, but art is subjective. Thankfully, Nunn offers previews of her work on her website www.bishonenworks.com. She has a consistent in style.

This is a beautiful perfect bound book, with full color images throughout. Though some of the layout could have been better designed (there were a couple instances of landscape images shrunk to fit on a portrait layout), overall this is a very good, especially for her first collection. The price is high, but reasonable for a print on demand title. ( )
