This is mainly a murder mystery set in Constantine's Rome, along the lines of Jack the Ripper. Nicely set up with more than one twist at the end, it held my attention from start to finish. This is the fourth book in the Ancient Rome series and I definitely want to read the previous installments. 3.5 stars ( )
