The is a story about a mail-order bride, Emily Foster, who only comes West to escape a dangerous situation. And about Adam Jacobs who didn't send for her (his friends helped him out) and doesn't want her there. A good story. ( )

Epigraph
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.                                                                                                                                    ---Romans 8:28
Dedication
In memory of Jean Norval, coauthor of Escape to Sanctuary, who on February 16, 2004, went to be with the Savior whom she loved and served.
Jean had only begun to see the encouragement her writing brought to others when she was diagnosed with terminal cancer on January 16, 2004. Two days later, Jean wrote, Help me to stay strong! I think my witness, whether I live or whether I die, can touch someone else. Her illness was brief as she continued to write and to speak, confident in her faith and focused on her witness to others. Her writing lives on today, bringing her readers a message of the eternal escape to sanctuary.
