First words
There are quite a number of books written about esoteric Temples and many scripts of ceremonies or procedures concerning what to say or do in them, but little or nothing about the whys and how or reasons for those behaviors and attitudes.

Book description
For many years, people have written about the importance of making an astral temple while almost ignoring the physical temple where magic iw worked. Author William G Gray, known for such works as The Ladder Of Lights, Magical Ritual Methods, and  Seasonal Occult Rituals, resolves this imbalance by looking, in-depth, at the way a Western magical temple should look and work.

Nothing is left out. Everything from what to wear to how to act is covered. Gray describes not only the outward appearance and function of the various temple trappings but also the importance of their symbolism, from both metaphysical-occult and a psychological point of view. Temple Magic is the most comprehensive book of its type since Crowley's Book 4, and goes into far greater detail.

There are many magical groups in the world today, but the ones who will use this book are not the authoritarian orders. THE people who will want Temple Magic are the individuals who are setting up their own temples for private use, and the groups of people who get together - without dues, autocratic structures or leaders - to practice magic.

This book deals with the problems and details you are likely to encounter in Western esoteric ceremonialism. Gray feels that it is a equal to Magical Ritual Methods. It is truly an older man's legacy for the guidance of his successors, written in the hope that they will avoid the errors he made.
