Another super fast read from Susan Mallery. This is #2 in the Bakery Sisters series. Enjoyable, predictable, fun. I think of books like this as popcorn books, they fill you up in the moment, but don't have a whole lot of nutritional value. I am now waiting for number 3! ( )

Didn't finis. This is the third in a series about the Mallery sisters. The third sister is whiney and I just did not care about her. She comes back to her home town. She introduces her son to his father and aunts. ( )

Book Two of the Bakery Sisters. Nicole Keyes isn't expecting the love of her life to walk through her bakery door, and when he does she's in no mood for his commanding presence. But Hawk, the local football coach and an ex-NFL player, doesn't know how to be any different. More enjoyable than I was expecting. Read it as a stand alone and it worked well. ( )

Book description
"Responsibility" should be Nicole Keyes's middle name. After all, not many people would sacrifice their lives to run the family bakery and raise a younger sibling. But with Nicole's twin sister now blissfully married and her younger sis turning out more femme fatale than girl-next-door, super reliable Nicole is getting sick of putting everyone else's needs first!

Enter Hawk. The deliciously sexy former NFL player offers Nicole a taste of the freedom she craves. Hawk may know the way, blindfolded, to her sweet spot, but Nicole's not about to let him get close enough to break her heart. Of course, she might not have a choice in the matter if Hawk's past keeps getting in the way of their present..
