As a general rule, I don't like branded merchandise.

I make a (slight) concession over this book because my little niece adored it for a few weeks after she turned two (it was a birthday gift).

This book has a heck of a lot of labeled pictures, more than enough to increase *any* toddler's vocabulary. For more "fun", have them point to the pictures. Periodically, instead of you telling them the right word, say "elephant". Little kids love correcting grown-ups. ( )

What's inside all the buildings around town? Eddie, Maggie, and friends help kids find out. The Little People ¨ characters visit five different town locales: the schoolhouse, firehouse, garage, farm, and market. Once they've explored the outside of each location, kids turn a big flap to reveal what's in side the place being featured.
