A cute story about a rat named, Wilfred who decides to sneak away from the cold inside a nearby museum. There, he meets all sorts of animals who are also hiding out. They play and eat and are quite content. Until, that is, the museum owner, Mr. Thawl, finds them and kicks them out (but not before Wilfred and friends destroy a priceless dinosaur exhibit). They sneak back in to reinstate the exhibit in time for museum inspectors to praise Mr. Thawl's creativity. In the end, they are all hired by Mr. Thawl as special museum assistants. ( )
