From the author of the very funny and successfulParanoids Pocket Guide, comes the ultimate self-help book for women. It's a guide to the open road that's strictly AAAthat's attitude, adventure, and ass-kicking good times. Filled with indispensable information such as how to get out of a speeding ticket without crying and 14 ways to open a beer bottle on your car,The Bad Girl's Guide to the Open Road also gives the practical lowdown on what to do when your engine overheats, you get a flat, or you need a safe and legal place to spend the night in your car. This book was so fun to read. It's not a story, but a guide on how to be wild on road trips you may take with girl-friends.
It's very funny and it left me wanting to go on a wild road trip. ( )

Car tips and road trip stories, all mixed in with fun ideas on how to make your life a little more... bad. A GREAT present for any young woman getting her first car, and always enjoyable to re-read on road trips. If there were 6 stars, this would get it! ( )

I once took a road trip (SoCal to Idaho) with a girlfriend and my daughter. We three females are as different as night and day and day, but found a common thread in this book. It figured prominently into our trip: laughter, hints, more laughter. That was 8 years ago and we are all still talking and laughing about the trip, and the book. 8 years - that says something. When she gave me a copy of the book last week, I almost died. Yes, I almost killed myself laughing all over again. The cleverness and twisted humor of this guide are hysterically life-changing (I will never look at a panty liner in the same way). ( )

Every woman (and a few men) should take this book with them on any and all road trips. Not only will Tuttle's humor keep you and your car companions in stitches, you'll also have a handy road survival guide. Who knew you could convert your parked 4-door sedan into a private bathroom stall? ( )
