Amy (from GR) and her niece and nephew enjoy this series.  I finally get a chance to read one (probably w/ some pix missing, in a 'treasury'), and do not understand why.  Of course I have antipathy towards pirates in the first place.  And this is not first (or likely best) in the series.  :shrug: ( )
