Caesar's story is the tale of a young slave who has trouble with the idea of becoming a slave. His childhood friend has Caesar become his personal servant, which is tough for both boys. As he struggles with the idea, more experienced slaves help to lessen the burden on his status. Caesar has lost his friend, lost his family, and he is determined to not lose himself.
