Excellent comic book novel brings the Daredevil vividly to life. The novel roots itself solidly in the real world, while still stopping to acknowledge the greater Marvel universe. Special care is taken in relating the fact that Daredevil is outside of the overpopulated superhero world and it is that which gives the novel and its character its greatest appeal. ( )
