I checked out this book because I like Nathan Hale's art style and his [b:Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales: One Dead Spy|13591161|Nathan Hale's Hazardous Tales One Dead Spy|Nathan Hale|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1343090433s/13591161.jpg|19179194] series.

It's an odd little folktale about a family that moves into a house occupied by a little devil. When the devil pushes them too far, they strike a deal with another demon to get rid of him. Of course, this backfires. A "careful what you wish for" tale. Young children who think they want a "scary" story with "devils and demons" might find this the perfect fit. ( )

Hale tells a folklore that enforces the idea of dealing with a problem instead of putting them off and making matters worse. The Fell family moved into a new house that came with a little devil. The Fells decided to trade the one devil for one housekeeper/devil remover extraordinaire, Ms. Phisto. Instead of a better deal, the Fells end up with hundreds and hundreds of devils who were brought into the house by Ms. Phisto. The Fells are able to make a deal and go back to their one, not-so-bad-after-all, little devil. ( )
