TRULY INFORMATIVE and INSIGHTFUL! I enjoyed reading this book. In chapter form, you read what specifically pertains to you. In this case you locate your sign and corresponding node (north or south) that your sign is in based upon the time you were born. You'll see yourself on these pages and it will let you know that astrology is a very real and current science! ( )

This book has been one of the most useful self-help tools I have ever owned. I've gone back to read my node's (and it's house placement) description and contemplate it, time and again, over the years I've owned it.

The detailed descriptions of your particular north node (Charts for determining your node are in the book, or just get a free birth chart from an online astro service.) help point you to the largely unconscious part of your persona that you've carried over from previous lifetimes, and that you need to become aware of this time around, in order to progress and be content with yourself.

If you are ready for truly understanding what makes you tick, beyond more superficial snapshots of astrological aspects, this is the book to get. ( )

An essential astrology handbook, this is the best guide to the moon's nodes, which I consider the most important points in interpreting the horoscope. Other points indicate personality; these show how to live a life aligned with the soul's spiritual purpose, the key to becoming happy and successful. Other books on the moon's nodes help fill out details involving house placement and aspects to the nodes, but are missing the depth of Spiller's wisdom. Skip the poetry, though - Spiller is a gifted astrologer, not a poet.
