This is a story about a girl named Carolyn who was adopted. Carolyn was adopted when she was two months old from Honduras. Two years later Carolyn and her family went back to Honduras to adopt Carolyn's brother, Michael. Carolyn shares her feelings about being adopted and explains how being adopted is a different way to have a family. The pictures used throughout the book were very touching and gave you an insight on how happy Carolyn is. This would be a good story to read to student's to discuss different types of families. ( )
