Thoroughly enjoyed this trickster tale and it's amazing illustrations. Another gem from Tara Books. ( )

Kanchil, a mouse deer, falls into a pit while walking through the forest eating his sticky rice cake off of a banana leaf. He grabs the attention of some unlikely animals to help him out of the pit, so long as the world does not end first. But they better not sneeze, or they will have to be thrown out of the pit. Great artwork! This would be a nice story to share with a class of young children when teaching them how to be a good friend.
