My favorite part of this book is the number of true life examples. Reading the theory about behavior wasn't nearly as helpful as reading examples of how to show more compassion and how to refocus the priority on love instead of behavior. I've heard over and over about how the relationship is the most important thing and I believe that - but seeing how a parent can choose the relationship in difficult situations was enlightening. ( )
