The text was clunky, but that's not what this book is about. Each spread shows a photograph of jumbled objects, and then suggests two objects to find in the jumble. Liam quickly picked up that he was supposed to do, and memorised the suggested objects, but there is lots of scope for asking a baby to find a ball, or something red, etc. This was a godsend on a car trip, although it made Mama a little queasy. Very easy for younger kids - maybe a little too easy for older kids, this one doesn't get much use anymore. We've had to buy other books in the genre that were more advanced. ( )

A nice introduction to the I Spy books for toddlers. Good for vocabulary building and teaching matching.

It's fun to watch Curious Girl get better at this--we've really outgrown the challenge here.
