This book is an excellent example of fantasy intertwined in an informational book. A personified family of bunnies embark on their adventure to the apple orchard. There they talk with the owner about specific cooking projects and activities they have planned to use apples with. He gives them valuable information explaining how apple trees are grown, and how to decide which apples to use for certain activities. The story seems very realistic, and the reader will finish the book learning how to grow apples, and learning a handful of activities one can do using apples.

Age Appropriateness: All elementary

Setting: The setting for this story mainly takes place in an apple orchard, and it seems very realistic. Readers could relate to the setting if they have ever taken a field trip to an orchard, and the illustrator provided a picture for what it may look like.
